Senior Solution Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Solution Engineer – Workload Automation to support enterprise sales initiatives and drive customer success through tailored automation solutions.

In this role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert for enterprise clients across industries, working closely with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams. You will be responsible for understanding complex customer environments, identifying automation opportunities and challenges, and designing scalable, secure, and high-performance workload automation architectures aligned with business objectives.

You will lead technical discovery sessions, deliver compelling product demonstrations and proofs-of-concept (POCs), and translate business and technical requirements into clear solution blueprints. The ability to bridge business needs with deep technical expertise will be critical in helping customers modernize their orchestration, DevOps, data pipelines, and enterprise scheduling environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Executives to understand customer goals and challenges
  • Lead product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical workshops showcasing ANOW! Automate and ANOW! Observe capabilities
  • Gather and translate customer business and technical requirements into effective solution architectures and deployment plans
  • Develop PoC use cases aligned with client requirements
  • Participate in customer meetings to identify technical and business requirements prior to solution design.
  • Support the sales bid process, including responses to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, R&D, Customer Success Management and Customer Support to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Provide structured customer feedback to Sales and Product teams regarding product requirements and improvements.
  • Stay up to date with current IT trends across various domains, including DevOps, DataOps, SOAP, Observability, cloud technologies and AI.
  • Monitor market developments, competitors, and emerging technologies.

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a Solution Engineer, technical presales/consultant, or technical sales role within enterprise software environments.
  • Experience with APIs, REST integrations, and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Shell, etc).
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, GKS, AKS etc).
  • Solid understanding of IT architecture (networks, servers, databases, cloud computing).
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts.
  • Solid intermediate knowledge of IT security technologies and security best practices
  • Proficiency in Unix, Linux and Windows environments
  • Deep technical expertise in Automic/Control-M/Airflow (including architecture, agents, APIs, and integrations) – highly desirable.
  • Deep technical expertise in observability platforms such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog, or similar tools – highly desirable.
