About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Databricks Consultant/ Tech Leader to support our client in structuring and optimizing their data platform.
This role goes beyond development — you’ll help bring order, governance, and best practices to an existing Databricks environment.

What you’ll do
- Organize and optimize Databricks workspace & architecture
- Support and guide migration from Azure to GCP for the Databricks platform
- Ensure consistency, governance, and best practices across cloud environments
- Define access control, permissions, and governance models (Unity Catalog)
- Improve and support data pipelines and workflows
- Drive best practices, scalability, and performance
- Act as a technical advisor and collaborate with stakeholders

What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering / data platforms
- Strong, hands-on experience with Databricks (must-have)
- Good knowledge on Databricks’ interoperability features (integrations with other data platforms like Teradata or Hadoop) and open data formats (Delta and Iceberg)
- Experience with Unity Catalog for data governance and access management
- Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience working in multi-cloud environmentsÂ
- Solid knowledge of Python
- Solid understanding of data architecture and data governance
- Experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in consulting roles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders

Nice to have
- Working experience with Teradata and/or Hadoop
- Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities of Databricks
- Azure, Snowflake experience
