About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Quantitative Developer, this role focuses on developing and deploying advanced AI-driven pricing models for trading applications, combining real-time market data with machine learning techniques. You will work at the intersection of research and engineering, turning quantitative models into high-performance production systems that support trading strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced pricing models powered by large-scale machine learning techniques, leveraging both real-time market data and historical insights to improve execution and price discovery.
- Work closely with quantitative researchers to transform experimental AI/ML models into efficient, production-ready trading systems with strong performance and reliability.
- Build and maintain robust systems for model training, backtesting, and deployment, while ensuring data pipelines are optimized for high-volume, low-latency processing.
- Process and analyze large, complex datasets (both structured and unstructured) using tools like SQL, Python, and distributed computing frameworks to extract meaningful features and improve model performance.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code suitable for live trading environments; continuously monitor and enhance models to address issues such as drift, latency, and consistency.
- Partner with AI researchers, quantitative analysts, and traders to ensure models align with trading strategies and broader business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a computational or scientific field (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science)
- At least 2 years of experience in Analytical Software Engineering or Quantitative Development (including academic or personal projects)
- Strong proficiency in Python (experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch); knowledge of C++ or Rust for low-latency systems is an advantage
- Experience working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and real-time data systems (e.g., Kafka)
- Practical experience building, training, and deploying large-scale models (e.g., deep learning, transformers, reinforcement learning) for predictive or algorithmic use cases
- Solid foundation in applied mathematics, statistics, and numerical methods, particularly in model optimization and validation
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, distributed systems, system architecture, and performance optimization in high-throughput environments
- Familiarity with market microstructure, pricing models, and trading systems
- Ability to effectively collaborate across research, engineering, and business teams, with clear and concise communication
